Who we are and what we do
We like to consider ourselves people who do their job with love. We like being in contact with foreigners because this enriches us everyday. We think that Italy is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and we believe that is our duty to spread its culture and language. This, of course, is also our pleasure.
How could we not transmit to the foreign student who is in Italy for the first time the beauty of its cathedrals, of its squares and fountains; the attractiveness of its little towns with their thousands of years of history; the sweetness of its hills and the impressiveness of its mountains; the bounty of its cuisine and exquisite wines.
Those who belong to the Domus Aurea are people in love with everything that life in Italy can offer.
From this love derives our work: The teaching of the Italian language together with the discovery of the country's territory. We think that a journey in Italy is important because it can complete one's personal and cultural formation. The foreign student who is facing Italian history, culture and art for the first time is often confused, but he/she is also affascinated by the endless time and space he/she finds him/herself immersed in.
Our activities move from these considerations. Activities such as class and outdoor courses, visits to wine canteens, oil-mills and farms, guided tours of cities and boat trips, walks in the countryside and so on.
As you can see, it is impossible to describe with one word our activity, but perhaps the best definition is that of a “cultural agency”. As an agency, in fact, we establish contacts with schools, universities and colleges of different countries and we promote all over the world the importance of studying abroad. It is a cultural experience because we do not only teach a language, but also a culture in its many aspects.
It is years now that we are offering assistance to teachers, agents, tour operators in the organization of study vacations and tours. All with the aim of helping the discovery of Italy.
